Attorney Bruce W. White earned his Juris Doctor from the TC Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1980, where he was selected to be a member of its Law Review, and was selected as a member of the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa Society (ODK) for his service in collegiate activities, including Class Representative and Treasurer of his law school class.. Upon graduating, Bruce served as a law clerk to the Honorable Blackwell N. Shelly at the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court. He later served as counsel to the United States Department of Agriculture, Farmers Home Administration. He also prosecuted cases in the US District Court and US Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Department of Agriculture after being appointed Special Assistant US Attorney.
Bruce is admitted to practice bankruptcy law in the state of Virginia and the US Federal District Court and US Bankruptcy Court. He was a member of the Richmond Bar Association from 2005 through 2014. He also belonged to the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT) from 2005 through 2014 and was a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) for many years. Bruce has dedicated his practice to helping individual, families and businesses through bankruptcy law.
